Joel, the owner of Baker Cleaning Service, contacted us many months ago about us helping with some website services for them.

Joel had another individual create their website and wasn’t completely satisifed with it.  However, he didn’t want us to make any changes to the website at this time.  Instead, he decide to go ahead and have the website hosting and domain name management transferred over to BsnTech from NetFirms.

Joel was not happy with how his website responded when he was using NetFirms, but wanted to wait until the hosting account was close to expiring with them so he wouldn’t be double-paying for hosting services.

With Netfirms, Joel’s website took anywhere between five and ten seconds to load the home page.

Upon changing over to BsnTech, Joel’s home page now loads within just two seconds or less.

BsnTech makes use of “solid state drives” – or SSDs – to host our customers on.  These drives are more expensive than typical platter hard drives, but we want to ensure that our customer websites are quick and responsive.  In most server systems, the bottleneck is typically from hard drive “latency” – or the time the computer itself must wait for the hard drive to return the data it needs to render the website.  SSD drives are approximately ten times faster than regular hard drives.

Joel has noted that he may have us help make some changes to his website in the future, but he has a family member that is going to attempt to make changes to the site before hand.

Mei contacted us a few weeks back asking about creating a website for their Chinese restauraunt, Hot Wok, located in New Iberia, LA.

Mei had a website prior that allowed for online ordering, but the company had went out of business about a year after they made her site.  Unfortunately, she had invested in having them make her a website, but the website was proprietary.  Therefore, when they went out of business, Mei los her investment on that website because it was not transferrable.

Once the initial payments were made, BsnTech got started right away and had most of their new restaurant online ordering website completed in just 24 hours!

The Hot Wok website has about 240 different items that can be ordered from their online menu and the customer can either choose to pick it up or have it delivered.  No online payments are made with their website – it just enables their customers to order online and pay upon pickup or delivery.

After the site was up, we then needed to make custom modifications to the order e-mail so that they could print it out on their receipt printer.  Their receipt printer had paper that was about 3-inches wide.  So several changes need to be made from the generic order e-mail so it would fit easily onto the receipt paper.

Finally, Mei also requested that we setup online coupon codes.  She had two coupons that she sent to us and wanted to have put on the site so they could be printed – and provided us two coupon codes so customers could redeem them upon making an online order.

Gary, a part owner of Cobbs Car Company, Inc., had contacted us several weeks ago about getting a website designed for their car dealership located in Evansville, IN.

After speaking to him and the other owner, Chad, on a few occasions, they wanted to proceed with the creation of the website.

Gary chose to have us take care of their website design and web hosting.  Before contacting us, they already had secured their domain name.  They eventually plan to move the domain name management over to us when it comes up for renewal.

We started on the site right away and had a few calls with Gary to perfect the site and get the color scheme how they wanted.

Last week, they were ready to go live with the website although a few additional items were needed – such as information for the About Us page.  Today, we received the info for the About Us page and so the website is almost complete!

The final item that will be enabled will be the ability for them to list and showcase their vehicle inventory on their website.  They want to have some time to get used to the website portal and get several vehicles up before enabling the feature on the site.

Teresa from Serenity Care Center contacted us a little less than a month ago in need of some assistance getting a new domain name and e-mail accounts setup for their organization since their volunteer IT person left.  The IT person controlled the original domain name, e-mails, and website and was not going to turn it over to Serenity.

At that time, we setup everything quickly to get Serenity Care Center back on their feet with their own accounts.  We also simply copied the website that they originally had.

However, Teresa wanted to move forward with having a new website created since the old site didn’t have the right organization name or information.

Once we got the updated information from Teresa, we got started on the site and was done within 48 hours of receiving the information!  Teresa did note that there will be some additional changes to the site in the near future, but they wanted the old website taken offline immediately.

Teresa continues to be very pleased with the service that we provide them – and even the support when they have questions that are not related to website or e-mail services.

BsnTech Networks received an inquiry from Dee Ann Summers, owner of Just Yesterday Boutique, over the weekend.  We called her back within a couple of hours and discussed her website needs.

Dee Ann Summers has a small consignment / resale shop and also provides personal shopping and fashion consulting services.  She also has an eBay store that is successful.

Because of all the businesses she is in, she wanted to have a website that would link to her eBay store, her social networking pages, and provide details about how to contact her and the services she offers.

Upon getting the information from Dee Ann, we had her website done within 48 hours!

Dee Ann was very surprised at how quickly we got her website up and running – and how easy it was to have a website designed.

Sid, a current customer of BsnTech Networks, contacted us in regards to helping another business get a website setup – Fayette County Monuments.

Sid has been instrumental in his assistance with providing us everything we need in a very quick manner to get a website going.  He provided us all of the information just after placing his order with us.

Because of that, we were able to get the website done in a very fast manner.  The website includes about five pages and a slideshow.  He also provided us the background image that he wanted used on the website.

Orion contacted us late last week in need for a logo design for his company.  He needed to have the logo completed quickly with a fast turn-around time.

Our logo designer spoke with Orion to gather the details and started work right away.  In about two days, the initial draft was provided to Orion.  A couple of changes were made to the logo per Orion’s request and it has been completed!

Fei, the owner of Sanctuary of the Soul, contacted us on Sunday needing to have a very quick change done to her website.  Upon getting the information and the change she requested, we had it done within ten minutes of receiving the request.

BsnTech Networks was contacted by Sharalee, a certified Rolfer that specializes in bodywork and body therapy.  She was referred to us by one of our other clients, Bruce at Pensacola Beach Sailing Tours.

Sharalee contacted us a few weeks ago to just get general information about our service and what we could do for her.  After speaking with her, she was very surprised about the low pricing and the range of services that we offered.  She just contacted us back this week to get started on her site.

She had a site already, but she was not able to update it or do anything for herself.  This was the primary need that she had – to ensure she could make changes to her website herself.  In addition, she requested that the color scheme of the site be changed somewhat to have a rust-colored text to help set it apart.

We got started right away and had the majority of her site completed in less than 24 hours!  She then requested that we modify her header graphic of the site to make it match the color scheme and do a couple of small updates.

The site has now went live and she is very surprised at how quickly we got the site completed and the level of service we provided.

BsnTech Networks was contacted by Ian, owner of the Regal Assets Club website.  Originally, he contacted us in regards to getting some help with another website that him and a partner had, but that order fell through.  Instead, he had us assist him with some minor updates to his own personal website.

We worked with Ian and changed some of the stylings of his navigation bar and added several sidebar widgets for him.

The work needed by Ian was pretty minimal and we were able to get everything done within an hour.
